$890 raised so far... God’s transformation is happening before our eyes!

THANK YOU to everyone who has already responded to our back-to-school campaign!
Your incredible generosity has raised $890 so far, which means we can send 22 children to school with dignity and confidence.
That’s 22 beautiful butterfly moments happening right now!
I’m (Daniel) witnessing transformation in my own thinking as I see your response to this God-sized vision.
When we first set this ambitious goal to double last year’s impact by raising $8,000 for 320 children, I felt both excited and, if I’m being completely honest, a little apprehensive.
But now, seeing $890 raised already, I’m reminded of our core value of transformation and how God works in ways we can’t always predict.
We’re now at 11% of our goal with time remaining before our September 23rd deadline!
At Ebenezer Children’s Home, our eleven-year partnership has taught us that transformation happens one child at a time. Each uniform represents our commitment to wholistic ministry - addressing the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of each precious child. It:
Gives a traumatized child a sense of belonging to a true family
Provides the consistency that children who’ve lived without adult care desperately need
Supports the emotional and spiritual healing that empowers them to build brighter futures
Contributes to their remarkable success in passing national exams at higher than average rates
Would you help us create even more butterfly moments?
Your gift provides:
$20 = One year’s supply of mosquito nets for one child
$40 = Sends ONE child to school with dignity
$80 = Transforms TWO children’s educational experience
$160 = Equips FOUR children for success
$320 = Sends EIGHT children to school with confidence
At EmPowered Living, we believe that people, not systems or techniques, are our foundation and focus.
Each child at Ebenezer receives trauma-informed care in an environment where they truly belong to a family—something rare and precious for children who have lost their caregivers.
Will you join the 22 children already celebrating their new uniforms by helping more of their friends experience the same transformation?
Stepping boldly (and now more confidently!) into this God-sized vision,
Dr. Daniel & Mary Beth Gilbert
