The rise of self-appointed apostles and prophets with no accountability is a growing danger in the Church. True spiritual authority is built on character, humility, and submission — not a title.

We've surpassed our $8,000 Back-To-School goal, fully funding 320 children in Kenya with uniforms, shoes, and school kits. With 24 hours remaining, every additional gift sends one more child to school.

Giving someone your platform is more than handing them a microphone — it's a public endorsement. When that trust is broken, spiritual leaders have a moral obligation to shepherd their people through the aftermath, not quietly disappear.

Nearly 70 children in Kenya are already set for school thanks to your generosity. Help us reach 250 more before the September 23rd deadline and give every child the dignity of learning.

A widely recognized prophetic voice has been exposed for calculated deception, leaving believers shaken. This post calls the Body of Christ to restore biblical accountability, discernment, and proper authority in the prophetic.

For the second year, Empowered Living is rallying its community to keep 320 children in Kenya equipped for school. With a goal of $8,000 by September 23rd, every gift — big or small — makes a lasting difference.

Today we honor Mary Beth Gilbert — a woman of faith, warmth, and dedication. Join the celebration by emailing her a favorite Bible verse and a heartfelt birthday wish.

t the midpoint of 2026, EmPowered Living has received $169,756 toward its $320,000 annual budget — thanks to faithful monthly donors and a generous $90,000 foundation gift. As the ministry trusts God for the remaining $150,244, regular giving has never mattered more.

Daniel and Mary Beth are available to serve your church through renewal conferences, sermon training, women's ministry, and leadership equipping. The same fire that burns in Africa burns here too.

Dr. Lawrence Oseje reflects on what makes EmPowered Living rare — a ministry built on genuine partnership, deep respect for African leaders, and years of faithful sacrifice. These are values worth celebrating.

When pastors are grounded in God's Word, everything changes. See how sound doctrine is setting people free from legalism and transforming churches across Kenya—and why truth spoken in love makes all the difference.

Empowerment happens when truth is revealed and people have the tools to use it—not just in ministry, but in homes, workplaces, and communities. At EmPowered Living, we equip leaders to transform their own communities by giving them truth that transforms, tools to apply it, and training to multiply it in others.

We value people where they're at—not as projects or numbers, but as image-bearers of God. When you truly value people, you listen before you speak, learn their context before offering solutions, and love them where they are. This is the foundation of everything we do at EmPowered Living, and we believe it's a value you share too.

Values aren't just words on a page—they're the foundation of everything we do. Over the coming weeks, we're sharing our eight core values with you, because we believe you already live these values too. That's why you partner with us. That's why our work resonates with you.

We invite you to experience something life-changing this fall. Join us in Kenya for 10 days to see firsthand what God has been doing for 14 years and what your partnership has made possible. Meet the orphans and students you've helped, experience powerful worship, visit our Bible School, and go on safari where you'll encounter God in His creation.

Before leaving for Kenya, I asked you to pray that 22 Bibles and 4 laptops would make it through customs without confiscation or duty fees. Despite one suitcase being marked with six chalk X's, God answered powerfully—everything made it through with no questions, no fees, and no problems. Your prayers equipped pastors and advanced the Gospel.

Dr. Daniel Gilbert shares how ELIM's most transformative trip to Kenya brought together four teaching associates for breakthrough teaching sessions. The journey culminated in a strategic partnership that will provide real classrooms, expanded curriculum including farming and entrepreneurship, and new resources to equip pastors to transform their communities across Africa.
