We have two important updates to share with you today—one is a call to prayer, and the other is a celebration of what we are accomplishing together.
First: I (Daniel) Leave for Kenya in 1 Day!
In just 24 hours, I will be on a plane heading to Kenya for two weeks of intensive ministry. This trip is critical—I’ll be teaching at our Bible School, meeting with pastors, and laying groundwork for future expansion.
But I need your prayers.
Please Pray For:
✈️ Travel Mercies & Safety
Safe flights and on-time connections
Smooth navigation through airports (things are improving, but still need prayer!)
Protection throughout the entire journey
📦 The Bible & Laptop Situation
This is big. Crossway Bibles donated Bibles to take to Kenya. I also have four refurbished laptops for his instructors.
Here’s the challenge: Shipping them would have cost nearly $2,000 (down from an initial quote of almost $4,000!). So am bringing them in my luggage—but Kenya customs has the power to take them...
Pray that:
I can get the Bibles and laptops through customs without excessive duty fees
Customs officials will understand these are donated gifts for the Bible School, not items for resale
Nothing gets confiscated (last time we shipped Bibles, they were lost and confiscated by the government)

Every time I’m away, the enemy fights us. Please pray for protection and good health for Mary Beth and Maria while I am gone.
📋 Vision & Planning (Week 2) In the second week, the team will be working on:
Building plans for the school
Vision for staffing and facilities
Strategy for future Bible Schools
Pray for wisdom, clarity, and God’s direction as they plan for expansion.

While I have been preparing for Kenya, our generous donor community is making incredible progress on the Antioch Foundation’s $30,000 Challenge Grant!
$12,943.50 raised • $17,056.50 to go • 43% complete
This is just over 40% of the goal! That means:
Helping launch a residential Bible School program
Strengthening pastor training in Kenya (where I am heading!)
Expanding ELIM into Mozambique and Burundi
Opening doors in Colombia and Ecuador
Equipping pastors with sound Biblical theology
We’re almost halfway there!
Remember: The Antioch Foundation has already given $30,000. If we can raise $30,000 more, they’ll match it with an additional $30,000—that’s $90,000 total for pastor training and ministry expansion!
