🚨 “I See These 5 False Teachings Coming—And I Have to Warn the African Church”

“I’ve seen pastors weep when they realize the Bible they are

Two pastors discussing major theological threats on Elevate TV’s GG Report show, seated in a studio during a live interview.
Truth was under attack — but we fought back.

preaching from has been altered.” —That’s what I told Pastor Godfrey Gichuki when I sat down on Elevate TV Kenya’s The GG Report last Friday. And let me tell you, what happened next was explosive.

🔥 What I Revealed on Live TV (And Why It Matters to YOU)

1. “Hyper-Grace”: The Lie That Lets People Sin Without Consequence

“Grace covers everything—so I can do whatever I want!” That’s what I’m hearing from pastors in Kenya, Uganda, even the U.S. This has to be stopped in its tracks.

  • The Problem: This twisted teaching (called “hyper-grace”) spreading fast in Pentecostal circles.

  • The Truth I Shared: Romans 6:1-2“Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means!

  • My Warning: “This is exactly what Paul fought in Romans 6. It’s not new—it’s an ancient heresy repackaged.”

A Kenyan pastor told me: “I almost left my wife because of this teaching. Your words saved my marriage.”

2. “New Universalism”: The Deception That Everyone Goes to Heaven

“God loves everyone—so no one goes to hell!” I looked straight into the camera and said:

“This is not the Jesus of the Bible.”

  • The Problem: This false teaching claims the Holy Spirit works in all religions, so everyone is saved.

  • The Truth I Preached: John 14:6“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

  • The Shocking Stat: 86% of young Christians believe “all good people go to heaven” (Barna Group).

Why This Matters: “If we don’t stand firm now, this lie will destroy churches in Africa,” I told the audience.

3. The Passion Translation: “Jesus Gave Me Secrets”

“The Bible is boring—so I’ll rewrite it with flair!” I didn’t hold back: “This is neo-Gnosticism—the same heresy the early church fought.”

  • The Problem: The Passion Translation adds words not in the original text, claiming “Jesus gave me secrets.”

  • The Truth I Declared: Revelation 22:18“If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues...”

  • My Challenge to Viewers: “Ask: ‘Which Jesus?’ The Jesus of Scripture—or a sensationalized version?”

4. “Liberation Theology”: Turning Jesus Into a Political Revolutionary

“Jesus came to overthrow governments, not save souls!” I warned: “This is Marxism in church clothes—and it’s spreading fast.”

  • The Problem: Some teach Jesus’ mission was social liberation, not spiritual salvation.

  • The Truth I Taught: Luke 4:18—Jesus did preach liberation—but from sin, not just poverty.

A Pastor’s Confession: “I was preaching politics instead of the cross. Your teaching changed everything.”

5. Critical Biblical Scholarship: When Scholars Play God

“We can’t trust the Bible—let’s decide what’s true.” I exposed this trend: “This started in the Enlightenment—and now it’s in your church.”

  • The Problem: Scholars question Scripture’s authority, making themselves the final judge.

  • The Truth I Defended: 2 Timothy 3:16“All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching...”

My Final Plea: “Test every teaching by Scripture—or you will be deceived.”

🎤 Why I Spoke Up (And Why You Should Listen)

“These trends start in the West—then hit Africa like a tsunami,” I told the audience. “But truth wins when pastors are equipped.”
